I Don't Know How to Describe This Problem But Please Help

Sorry for the ambiguous title, but I'm really not sure what's going on here. There's this strange glitch that's occurring when Nana is transitioning from "ka" to "n" that I don't quite know how to explain. Just listen for yourselves.

If anybody can propose a solution to this odd problem, please do. I'm at a complete loss.

EDIT: After seeking help from multiple sources, I can conclude that I am literally the only one who thinks there's a problem. So I guess I'll just leave it as is. It will probably sound better after mixing, anyway.

I'm not sure I hear an issue here? It sounds like a particularly smooth transition for Nana's VCV bank, even.

Edit: There is a pitch bend there, but I'm not sure if that's what you're hearing? Her n is very neutral, it's close to an "u" sound but I don't think that's what you're hearing either. I'm sorry i can't help more

This is really weird. I've asked several people about this problem, and it seems like nobody except for me hears the little blip in her "n". I know I'm not crazy. This is the only time it happens in the entire UST, the rest of her n's sound fine.

Have you listen what the raw wav sample sounds like? I can guess that her “a ん” is pronounced strongly, like almost having a stop between “a” and “n” but I’m not completely sure as I don’t have her VB right now.

If that’s the case and that bothers a lot, you can always oto a “fake” a ん settings from any sample that has ん and oto it like CV ん but alias it as “a ん” (or “a ん2” in case you want to keep the original as well) and put following settings: overlap 100, preuttr 50. With these settings it should sound guite smooth.

OR

Open her VB folder and look at her recordings. You can oto VCV “a ん” from any sample that is has following: かん、さん、たん... etc. IDK what VCV reclist she uses but I’m pretty sure that there’s some sample that has Ca_n (C stands for any consonant). Let’s play that she had a wav file called んかんき.wav. Because there’s んか, you can get “a ん” if minus consonant. In oto, you can always cut consonant away, so you’ll have an another “a ん”.

EDIT: The problem has been fixed!

I figured out that it was not actually a problem with the "ka" and "n," but rather a problem with the "n" and "o." Someone on Discord informed me that I could fix it by simply selected the "o" and pressing the P2P3 button, and sure enough, it worked! No more weird blipping!

Make sure to always crossfade every note!
