VB problem (hard to describe)

I just downloaded Namine Ritsu Kire, and he won't sing. I check his configurations, and all files with aliases aren't .wav, and all the files with audio don't have aliases, and when I try to give them some, they don't work. Also, his .wav files all have different syllables in each of them, (for one he'll sing "ku ku ki ko ka ko ki", and so on for the other consonants). I've seen this kind of vb bank before, I just don't know how to make aliases or really work with it.
This is probably a newbie problem.

(This happened with Teto’s Japanese vbs too. But Defoko works. I just got a new laptop so that might have something to do with it)

Ah, it looks to me like the VB has been corrupted, meaninff some of the files have been changed to mojibake (the nonsense weird text) so the bank doesn’t work properly, because of compatibility with banks encoded in Japanese and such.

On windows, this is solved by changeing the locale to Japanese, but I see you’re on Mac, so you’ll need to download “The Unarchiver” (https://theunarchiver.com/) and use it to unzip banks.

So try downloading them again, but using the unarchiver to unzip them instead.

Thank you! I’ll try that (the Mac fix).

Unfortunately it's in a folder, and in it is another folder, and in that folder are the .wav files. So I can't figure out how to unzip them.
[doublepost=1529181210][/doublepost]So I can't seem to unzip them. Looking at the files it looks like the file names and audio have been almost separated from each other.
