Help New to OREMO

Alright, not really sure exactly HOW I should word these questions but--

I finally got OREMO downloaded and working properly, I have the English one and everything. I watched a video regarding a tutorial for it however, I am confused as to a few things...

1 - When it comes to saving the file.

So this is where I had the mess up, like I said just following the video tutorial and then suddenly it showed how to 'save a file'. Now I follow things pretty easily if I am shown the steps to do this, as I followed the steps I noticed they had another folder FOR those audios but as I went to check where my test sound was, the audio was no where to be found. I am very confused as to how exactly one does save an audio and where should one put it. Much help appreciated!

----
2 - How long do I record a vowel/letter/character for?

I remember one of my friends told me we have to record the certain sound for a couple of seconds but I forget just how long it has to be recorded for.

----
3 - How do I change/listen to the audio by it self?

When I ask this question, I don't mean specifically that I need to push the space bar to listen to it wise. I mean as in, how do I listen to the audio that has been changed to see if I like it or not wise and to make sure it is correct? Not sure if I worded this one out well enough or not..

---
This one isn't really a question but it's just regarding if anyone has any tips or tricks on using OREMO it would be very helpful because right now I feel like that picture meme of the lady with all those math equations..

Thank you!!

(Also if I made some questions not understandable I do apologize... Explaining things isn't really my strongest trait...)

1. Hi! oremo automatically saves after you record your sample but automatically adds it to the result folder within oremos main folder

to change the default results folder to your utaus folder just click the rectangle thing on the bottom and it should open a prompt to change the folder

2. However long you want to but usually the longer it is the smoother it is if its oto'd correctly; for example i have some CV banks where my samples are about 5-7 seconds long, it all depends on what you want to do, im sorry i dont have experience making VCV banks w oremo but i believe that there are guide bgms that u can load as a reference for how long to record the samples etc.

3. im not sure what you mean, im not the best at understanding things, but if im interpreting your question correctly: what i do is just load the bank in utau and add the notes i want and see how they sound in the engine (you can do this w oremo open in the background, it wont flip out just make sure 2 restart utau everytime u add new samples to your folder or they wont be there)

Thank you so much for this, it actually clarified a lot of my confusion-- and apparently for number 3 I got ahead of myself slightly. I thought that the OREMO program was the thing that made your voice the way it is for an Utau, apparently it isn't.
I've been watching the tutorials by a YouTuber called PaintedCZ and it kind of confused me on how she got some things so thank you for answering my questions!!

Though I hate to ask but I do have one more question, I just tried to download the actual UTAU program but it doesn't seem to be working for some reason? Do you know where I might be able to find another one??
[doublepost=1544488921][/doublepost]Nevermind-- I think I just figured stuff out!! Thanks for all the help!

Might try to figure out some other stuff later but for now I think this thread can be closed!~
