Is this okay?

Alright, so, I found a website full of cracked/pirated Vocaloids (not gonna post the link) and I downloaded a few voicebanks. And yeah, I know that piracy is illegal and all, but I'm just using this version of Vocaloid to practice how to use the software before I spend money on it and have no idea what I'm doing.

My question is, is that bad? I don't plan on releasing or uploading any songs/covers using this free version of Vocaloid, as I said, it's strictly just for practice and personal use.

I personally don't care but I recommend you do a deep scan of your computer for viruses because it ruined my computer when I used to fux with it when I was like.. 15. Some V2s are pretty cheap now a'days.

Despite how innocuous your intentions may have been, it's probably not a good idea to openly talk about this as you can face repercussions or just backlash in general for your actions. Whether or not it's okay...

Technically, it's illegal to participate in the unauthorized re-distributions of Vocaloid products if I recall correctly. As the users above noted, there is a possibility of getting a virus on your computer, and as Sors mentions, it's probably a better idea to just buy the program/voicebanks to practice (not illegal and much less risk of getting some kind of virus).
