Hi!

I want to do free OTOs for practice.

I'm willing to OTO:

-Monopitch and multipitch VCV (3 pitches max).
-Monopitch and multipitch CV (10 pitches max).

If it's a VCV OTO, please alias your voicebank beforehand.
Expect one or two weeks for a VCV OTO (I don't have much time, but I'll try to be quick).

If you're interested, just comment below. I'll PM you for the voicebank link/details.

Here's a raw sample of what I've otoed:

https://clyp.it/ddompai0

I didn't mix, I just rendered the .wav file and put it on Clyp.it.

Thank you for reading this!

UPDATE: I'll oto multipitch VCV as up now! For the sake of time, I didn't do it before, I'm sorry!

I have a CV bank that I had otoed awhile back but for some reason his oto didn't save properly because my laptop decided to restart on its own. (Don't know how or why his oto didn't save properly after finding out my laptop restarted.) and hadn't found any time to reoto him.

I'm interested but I don't know how to PM on here I'm afriad T^T;;

feel free to ignore the files that have the up arrow he was originally going to be a multi-pitch but kept getting interrupted during recording and I kind of decided he sounded fine mono pitch. (was originally going to be an append for my utau buuuuuut decided he's his own character, forgot to change the name of the file lol)

Your bank is done! Sorry for the wait!

If you don't like it, just resend it to me and I'll see what I can do. It may be choppy, since I haven't oto CV in a long time and I'm most used to VCV.

Here's the link:

Hope you'll enjoy it!

HOLY CRAP THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Admittedly I sort of expected it to be slurry/choppy (because of the samples itself not the otos!) if i don't add Consenent velocity but after I added it...my god this is way better than the oto I had. and the only time I hear the choppy bit is on the "u" sounds *_* thank you so much Pazuru.

I looked at the otos and I gotta say I never really thought of having the green line stay at zero for the consonants and the red line stay at zero for the vowels.

I did notice something though and I apologize I forgot that this voicebank had a lot of natural vibratos when I was recording it. I'm not entirely sure how many people know this trick (credit goes to the person I learned this trick from during my hiatus) but if you're dealing with a voicebank that has natural vibratos. it'll show on the spectrum thing (not spectrum view but that first thing when you click on to edit the oto in utau) It'll show on there as a small yellow line (the thing that appears after initializing the wav files).

What you do in the case of dealing with a voicebank that has a natural build up to the note and natural vibrato is try to find in that yellow line where it's the most straight...and drag the right cut off and the pink to that point but leave enough white space where utau can still make the sound. Cause what happens is that when you go to play that sound without having the build up being covered in pink. Utau will play that build up that isn't covered up in pink which causes the pitch bends in the ust to sound off...and it kind of also applies to vibratos as well if the voicebank has natural vibratos cause the natural vibratos will mess with the vibratos in utau. But when you apply that trick it'll make the utau sound a lot more smoother especially during long notes.

Other than that, oto is incredibly well done.

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know this, thank you for telling me! Do you want me to check it again?

Oh no it's fine! I wasn't complaining. I thought I'd give that bit of advice! (sorry if i came across as me complaining. That wasn't my intention. I kind of had a bit of a rough morning when I wrote that.)

This is the result of your oto (He's singing Kaito's part and my VCV bank is singing Miku's part)

Oh, your VCV is really good! If you need help again, feel free to tell me. I'lI be happy to offer it! (I know I might come off as annoying, but I just want to help everyone, y'know...)

Thanks, and don't worry I'm kind of the same way. Um I did release a demo of the VCV bank but I'm kind of trying to do a combination of CV /CVVC/ VCV oto (CVVC is kind of experimental cause I really didn't record CVVC stuff)

That sounds interesting! Are you planning to do a CVVC oto with your VCV samples, or something like that?

something like that...though now that I think about it's more VC than CVVC (i don't know much about CVVC to be honest)

The only CVVC I've ever created is like a French CVVC (my first language, yay)! It's not recorded or otoed like a Japanese CVVC, so I don't know either.
I've heard that CVVC, while easier and shorter to record, is tricker to OTO than VCV. Plus, you'll have to convert CV/VCV USTs to CVVC, because they aren't many laying around. This is why Japanese CVVC seems so unfamiliar to me.
