I'm popping there again, heyo!

EDIT: Also, otoing French VCCV is a nightmare. It's super easy, but just really long. I hope otoing those three pitches is worth it,,,

I think it will be worth it! French VCCV isn't nearly as common as other types of voicebanks, so it'll make Yaemi stand out more. It's also just nice to have more voicebanks of her ^^ good luck, though. VCCV in general can be annoying

You'll find the time to do so! Recording might be time comsuming, but it's so worth it!

Today is our first marching band performance... I'm not sure about the actual band, but color guard isn't fully prepared and I'll probably be the one messing everything up :')

And that's an awesome dream @Soursop the fruit! I hope you'll have the time and silence for the recordings. Good luck! (Also, I like your new icon!)

Thank you guys! I've been training my voice with warm ups, hopefully i could do it well when the time comes (especially staying in consistent tone & avoiding saliva sounds, is there any tips for that?)

Ty @Haichou and good luck, i wish things go well!!

From personal experience... don't record at a fast BPM if you want consistency. Also, try to actively remember the tone you want to recreate! It might help. Another idea is to make sure the first sample is in the tone you want, and then you could pause recording every so often to listen to it.
As for avoiding saliva sounds, make sure to stay hydrated! They're common-ish in voicebanks, though, so I don't think people mind them. If you're trying to avoid them because you don't like them, that's another story (and I'd understand that completely).
Training your voice sounds like a great idea, too, so it's good that you've been doing it!

pffff Pazuru just said everything I was going to xD but I'll leave this up anyway, I was almost done typing this when you posted lol

They're not unclear to me! They make perfect sense, but maybe that's because I do the same thing. (except for recording in one sitting, which really does help with tone)

Oh, and also, here's the most important thing, and I tell that to everyone who wants to record: Please take breaks. You don't want to end with your throat hurting because you've pushed your limits for too long

@Haichou I'm glad my explanations were clear, then!!

I've finished otoing my french VCCV! But the third pitch sounds to powerful, so eh, I'm going with a power set instead, it seems!
