Uwah, I did the open doors at my school (I don't know how it's called in english, but in french it's "portes ouvertes", which means "open doors") It's basically a thing where everyone can visit the school, but it didn't go well, ouch.
I had a "friend" to help me, but they said that they were bored and they left even before the event started, so I did the whole thing alone.
On a positive note, I had to do the whole visit in english instead of french for some people, and I felt like my spoken english improved!
So yeah, I must had said "Hello, my name is Josie, I'll be your guide" for at least 200 times, oops
My feet are hurting, I walked so much oof

I think we'd call that "open house," at least where I live!
It's unfortunate that the other person left. Being alone for something like that sounds terrible. I'm glad there was still something good about it, though!
I'd offer to help you with spoken English, but I can't voice chat ^^; I'd still be willing to help in some other way if you ever wanted to practice.
(Also, off-topic, but what name do you prefer? Since your username is Josie on Twitter, I thought I'd ask. I'd been calling you Pazuru this entire time...)

Honestly, the only thing that makes my english akward is the fact that I'm afraid when I speak english. If I'm comfortable with someone, my english will be fluid. But if I'm with someone that I don't know that well, I'm going to slur. Thanks for wanting to help though! I don't want to bother you ^^

You wouldn't be bothering me! I love helping out with language practice. The only issue is voice chat. I don't know of any other way to practice speaking...

...but in all seriousness: high school has been crazy so far, but I'd still be willing to help if I can! That goes for anything, really, not just English practice. I've been less active recently, but I'm trying hard to be here more and help more.

Honestly, I'm most excited for Psycho-Pass 3...first season is still the best one though. If you want to get back into anime, I can give you a recommendation for something that's good but not too long! What genres do you like? (not just specifically for anime but in general)
I don't really have a preference (I don't watch many things). If I had to choose, it would either be slice-of-life or action!
