tuning/pronunciation tips?

hi! i'm very new to utau (downloaded it yesterday) and would like some general advice as to how to make my USTs sound nice (: this is my very first one and my first time tuning after watching a couple tutorials on youtube.

of course i'm not aiming for realism just yet, but if anyone has any tips on how to smooth out this short track's rough edges, it would be greatly appreciated!

i used kasane teto's english CVVC voicebank for this!

Make the pitch curves for notes start and end close to each other, or even overlap them a bit. At the end of phrases, extend the pitch curve a bit down or up (depends on the next phrase) past the original note. This is something that mixing can help a little too with things like reverb.
