Help With VCV?{Don't need help anymo' c:}

For a while now, I've been wanting to record a VCV voicebank, but hearing that it was quite difficult has put me back..But now that I continually listen to my UTAU, she sounds really great for a CV, but I can't help but want to make her sound even clearer and not have so many robotic sounds when she holds some notes (mainly her 'i'), but that could be a matter of microphones, too.. (Seeing as I'm a broke student, I can't do any better than my iPod touch and the iTalk app ; -; )

Anyway...Is there anyone, or even more than one person, who could possibly give me some tips on how to record a VCV bank? Got any good reclists? Anything useful to help me out because I'm hopeless on my own with this stuff. ;;orz I wanted to post this thread before heading to the tutorials area because I feel I learn better when talking to someone in live time rather than looking at a reclist that could be years old or something. ; o;

I've seen that. xD; It seems simple..ish..But I want to get some more information on it before anything. Seeing as I have off Friday, I am going to try recording for it but til then...I'm gonna write down some notes. o 3o

OOoh. o 3o My friend sent me over a VCV list she gave me and I've already tried reciting the sounds. It's simple and I do feel rather comfortable with it so that's a go. ;w ; b

The whole recording thing doesn't seem that hard now that I've seen Shinami's video but is there anything else to it? Like..I don't know. I just don't wanna screw it up. ; W ; All I know is that I'm not touching the otos, though. I made that mistake with my UTAU's ACT1 when I started and it was noooooooot pretty. oA o

Thanks for the link, I've actually been working on my VCV bank with Ritsu's. x3 I got Shinami's help on how to do it and I've just started recording again today after a break from it.
