Aha, after watching Toby Turner's tutorials on Skyrim and reading around about Skyrim I was just curious as to who all play or like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. ... That was a long sentence with the word "Skyrim" in it multiple times. sorryghngjk;;

A lot of my friends over here play it and people online I know play it, so I understand a little. A lot of guys over here play Skyrim and if you say something to disown it or you don't understand it completely then shun you and make rather rude remarks... //;;

But ah, excuse my rambling. I'm just interested to know if there are Skyrim folks out there~;;

I played Skyrim~! Although it's not on my computer, it lags so horribly on my laptop....but that's just because it's old.

But anyways, Skyrim was super fun and I'd still like to play it now ;o;

Yes, Skyrim would seem like a hassle if you don't have a gaming computer or some means of fluent access to memory? Computers like those are so expensive... But I'd love to play it, it does look really fun! Although, with all the side quests and items, is it possible to beat? Ah, I love open world/RPGS myaa.

Sorry, ramble. Um, does Skyrim cost a lot of money? A lot of people I've discussed it with say they either received it for Christmas or as some type of gift. ;w;

It costs around $60, I think. But Steam always has sales so you could wait until the price drops.
And it is possible to beat everything in the game. You just have to be sure to go EVERYWHERE. xD

Oh, well, there's no surprise about the cost! But I just really want to try and make a character and get used to the battle system hands on and things of that sort. But pooh, that's still a lot of money. Not to mention that I still need to get Skyward Sword. Asdfghjkl my goodness exploring everywhere in Skyrim will truly be a task. I'm not sure if I'd want to be an Imperial or, um... Some other race that comes to my liking.

What is your character, if I may ask?

I was a Khajiit my first time, then my computer messed up and I played on another computer so that time around I played as a Breton. xD

Tobuscus made commentary about the races the first time he played it, and, jumping the bandwagon, became an imperial. I think I will become an Imperial once I get the game, but I'm not sure.  And so sorry about the really late reply! I have not been on UTAforum as much as I thought I would this week. UO has me occupied a little . //;;

Sorry, ramble. B-But I am curious; how many quests does one receive? Watching Toby's tutorial he has around thirty or forty. Ah, I understand there is a lot to do in Skyrim, but my goodness! And uaaah I wanted to see if anyone here was an Argonian. e//e

Yes, my name is Skyrim, you called???

-ahem- Skyrim is a gorgeous game, beautifully done, and WELL worth the money. IF you have an XBOX360, I highly recommend playing it there. Of course, if you have a good system, I guess you could play it on your PC/Mac, but honestly the controls feel SO much better and at home on the XBOX. I began playing it on my mac (the reason I... um... actually went out and bought it -coughcough-), and when I played it on the XBOX, man, wow. I'm just really in love with the game, so much that I've decided I'm going to try to play all the other Elder Scrolls games. |:sing: I'm playin' Oblivion right now, it's so cute, bahaha.

There are a LOT of things to do in Skyrim if you like doing side quests and stuff. The main quest is a great length, not too long, definitely not too short. I had to go around and clear a few extraneous dungeons here and there to level up sometimes, though. But all in good fun, the game is super well made, so you never really feel like you're wasting time. Ahh, sorry, I'm gushing, I can't help it, this game's enamored me dfgdsg

- Here's the list of the main questline. It's really moderately built! I believe it's a great length, IMO.

It also depends on how you'd rather play, too. My play style seems to be a more unusual type, not as popular amongst lots of players? I played the game completely concentrating on archery and stealth (I chose to be Bosmer/Wood Elf, I've always preferred ranged weaponry and stealth). I sneaked around a lot and was able to sneak through lots of things and, well, when using the perks I'd get leveling up on archery, I mean c'mon, I could kill things without them even knowing it, IMHO that's pretty awesome /shot

But I digress! Regarding the question about races, that was just my choice to be a Wood Elf, because of the natural affinity to archery and stealth, however other races have other traits. The Khajit are also more stealth oriented. The Imperials, I believe, make money easily? xD The Bretons have an affinity to magic, and so do High Elves. The Dark Elves too, but they're a more stealthy race, as well. I've also seen people make characters of a certain race for the role playing element of it, too. It seemed like a really interesting idea, because in fact, characters react to you if you're of a certain race! Since I made my character a Wood Elf, I'd get mean remarks sometimes from Nords because they hate the Thalmor, which is run by Elves. (I hate them too, they deserve to be hated >:C just them) I've heard that if you play as either beast race, Khajit or Argonian, you get racially slurred at because those races are the most oppressed by everyone else! So it really creates a different overall mood when playing.

sdf Okay, sorry, long post is long, but I just really wanted to relay all that. I promise, it is SO worth your money, it's a GORGEOUS game.
