Non-human, inanimate, or alien UTAUs

Apparatus

Momo's Minion
My utau Chou Kaimei is a robot girl whos trying to fit in with society by singing.
here's artwork that was made for her debut: http://sonnyaws.deviantart.com/art/commission-chou-kaimei-273417657
A few other of my utau who have not made an official debut are other strange creatures, such as Akari Hoshi is a star that fell to earth and was able to create for herself a humanoid form so she can find the boy who watched her almost every starry night who dissapeared one day.
her design concept:

The only human Utau I had was Kagoshima Daisuke, but he has been retired for years XP

Okay, so most UTAUs are human as a part of their character. But what about the ones that aren't human, in one way or another? I've seen UTAUs that are inanimate objects, such as Bubble Pop and Sekushi Beikon. And in the case of Tree, something that is characteristically living, but otherwise unable to produce sound.

So how exactly does one go about recording for an inanimate object...? Lol. I guess it's just one of those things where you say, \"if a burrito (for example) could talk, I think this is what it would sound like.\" XD But one thing that inanimate UTAUs all seem to have in common, is that they are mostly just for the lol's. For example, Bubble Pop just makes cute popping noises. Others like it are just plain goofy for your enjoyment (not that there's anything wrong with that). And it makes sense, really. Because, how serious a voice could you give something like the burrito I mentioned for example? I find the subject of these UTAUs to be funny, which is why I'd like to see some more...

And then there's the 'non-human' category. There are dogs like Spike, cats like Satemaro, and other animals I'm sure...That also includes humans with animal appendages like nekomimi. but what about mystical or mythological creatures? I don't think I've ever seen an elven UTAU or the like, before...

Lastly, how about some 'alien' UTAUs? As in non-homosapien or not from Earth? I don't necessarily mean the kind the kind that we picture that are green with antennas, or something. They could be completely human, just not from Earth. I just realized, not too long ago that don't know any like this, with the exception of a new pair of UTAUs that I am working on--Castella and Kayu Nova (not meaning to advertise, just using them as an example). They're not from Earth, but they're still human.

I'd just like to know about more UTAUs out there that aren't classified as human. I find it interesting and rare, since most of them are human and regular Earthlings. I thought it might be an interesting topic to discuss. :o

How about some UTAUs that are half-ghost? I have seen some UTAUs like that. :/

My UTAU dL is an anthro-ish cat and android...

Who is also gender-less |': He/She can switch gender to use a different voice. You call him/he by his/her current gender appearance. But is always considered the same person...

he/she also has multiple personalities for both genders...(kinda like some messed up multiple personality disorder...can be considered dangerous at times...)
He/She can also read minds but only to the point of one-way conversations...

So I guess this puts him in ANIMALOIDS?

-(I think Furloid is a dangerous term because as soon as people here the term "fur" they incorrectly think of ****/sex happy anthro-animals/people in animal suits...that's actually um...yiff? -completely different-) -

I want to make an UTAU based off of a creature I met in a dream one time. He was basically a little guy with a tennis ball-like head. Not that this will ever happen, I'm busy doing a bunch of different things now.

I plan on making my First UTAU be a FURloid.

The only thing I've decided is that he will be:
-Orange/redish
-character item will be his pocketwatch
- black tipped tail and ears
- interesting markings on his body (spots for his chest, slashes for his thigh)
- he sounds a lot like Len >.< <No he doesn't, my bad.
- 6'1"
- attitude, name, design yet to be set... and what sets him as different than the other Furloids, is that he has a pretty good high vocal range and is recorded in the key of B3
- His voicebank may included a "human" concept of him from a parallel universe (because some people prefer having human designs rather than a furloid.) (The parallel human design may come in handy when I want to do a duet with the same voicebank)

My UTAU, Reim, is actually a ball-jointed doll. A lot of her dress types end up hiding her joints, though. I know Eiri is technically inhuman, but...I dunno what he is. He looks like one?

The more inhuman aspect comes from canon backstory.

My newest Utau Blossom is a dog. Vocals provided by my actual dog named Blossom.

When I officially release my voicebanks her voicebank will be a companion voicebank.

I'm working on an alien UTAU, but she's kinda like the green alien cliche. I'm not sure if I should change her skin color because I like the color pallette I'm going to use for her(green, pink, black).

Her home environment is aquatic, so she has webbed feet and hands for swimming, and she has curly antennae and huge ears. I don't think her species will have gender, she just happens to look feminine, but I bet others in her species may end up with odd mixes of masculine and feminine features...

I never believe that you could make an UTAU voice only using dog sound. It's so goofy and funny.

The term "ANIMALOID" is two times more polite and acceptable than "Furloid". :sing:

I think Stella Hoshine is a star-child, or something like that as stablished by Feli (she also wrote on her readme that people think that was a cat who got magical powers, but then on her twitter bot she says she has no magical powers, so I think she's a star-child or some kind of alien).
WALTT is an ANIMALOID/FURloid, and also looks like he's from another planet, as well as my new UTAU eXelle (since they are siblings). DENGEN is an alien too (a lombax, do you remember Ratchet & Clank? That's it.)
BAI-F0 is a genderless anthro goat and I suppose he/she's an alien too?
Also my old UTAU Miyumi Databasu comes from an AU and she's related to cupid, with wings and heart themed (yes, she was kind of a Mary Sue).
Aaaand I think that's all I know at the moment. If I find some more information, I'll post it here.

Most of my UTAUs are weird XD
SP-X92 is an android
Saishone Lia is an extraterrestrial angel girl

Then I have 9 other UTAUs that will probably never be recorded.
Seiteki, TV head half robot
DZiiTSU, 3/4 cyborg human
Bainari, a virtual girl
Monokuro, a monochrome demon who eats people's nightmares (dream eating monochrome baku)
Subarashii, a weird zombie-like demon thing
Kuukan, a shadow form
Chikyuu-gai no, an alien
Ishi, a medusa
Menimienai, a half-invisible boy

I may make them UTAUs some day...

"fur" and "furry" are both horrible terms that should not be embraced.

Everyone remember to not feed the trolls.
Sorry if that offended you Jeremy, but you should have known when you posted it that other people may be offended and would react poorly. That is my poor reaction for the sake of those people.

In all seriousness, while I'm not a fan of the terms/lifestyle, I don't judge anyone. In UTAU especially I don't care about design - voice is everything. A cool design like TATARI only matters if the voice is good. So when I see an UTAU, I don't see hey it's a Furry I think hmmm the voicebank is okay but not really my type, not enough power.

This is an UTAU forum. Hopefully this won't stir up strife about how people lead their lives.

oops-that was meant to be a reply to someone else-

That was not what I intended to mean, I was talking about the "term" not the lifestyle as the term puts a stereotypical view on those who use it.

I am talking about those who "advertise" the term and use it poorly; since the term has been tainted, it often affects ones social status and how one views them.
But due to it's popularity it is still used.

I have no negative view(s) on those individuals and did not intend to offend anyone, I don't think of anyone who has such a lifestyle and/or ideal as any different from anyone else.

I am not a "fan" of the generic/stereotypical male character design -I have to admit that or I would be lying-
I judge voicebanks based on the characteristics, not the character design (though and original and well thought out design surely is a plus)

I apologize those I may have offended, as I did not intend to have what I said to be perceived in such a way.

I had mistakenly put my statement out of context due to me posting it detached from the conversation (no quoted text) and thus has changed the meaning of it.

I do not hate "furies" or their lifestyle, I was referring to the terminology placing such a "taboo" view onto it.

Ah, okay, good to know - I thought it sounded odd, seeing as the other posts I've seen from you sounded very friendly/sincere.

Sorry for the possible overreaction, I've probably been spending too much time on GameFAQs forums where people can get really insulting and aghhhhh. People there are very sincere in their hatred. Any time I'm posting it's to put a quick and harsh quell on what's going on, like I did here.

A bit embaressed on my part, sorry. too many gomens ahhhh
