I think maybe your laptop can't read hiragana? That's what most VCVs are encoded in

1- use a common preutterence (most use 300). This causes less issues with overlapping
2- put the green line RIGHT AFTER the end of your first vowel
3- put the red line RIGHT AFTER your consonant (moving the first blue section so that your preutterence is still at your base number)

Also, don't be afraid to use consonant velocity. Most all VCVs need it ^ u^ (I recommend 135 for Hekine btw)

Chiru, that's a style I like to call "custom" because there were no specified values. While it CAN be very good if done very well (Kasane Teto's is custom, and two other banks that work okay for me as examples are TATARI and Cinnamon Ani Usa), custom can cause NIGHTMARES when done incorrectly (Lamia Serpent...her voice is gorgeous but that oto was soooo bad...*headdesk*). Most people do okay but it still bothers me because those who got it almost right could have just done what I call "standard" and it would have been perfect from the get-go.
Again, no offense to Snow, I think Hekine Chinji is fine, it's just all those banks out there where it's done wrong when there's an easier method makes me want to scream...
Otoing VCV is...otoing VCV, whether it's encoded in romaji, hiragana, or otherwise. I suggest you use a set of standard settings that are constant throughout the bank. Rather than spend a century explaining, I made a video a year and a half ago (slightly outdated, but the otoing explanation is still 100% gold) explaining it. Go from around 6:00 to the end.

When done correctly, which is easy (just takes a while from all the strings), it is easy to slap the bank in, adjust, and have no errors. And a lot of VCV USTs used UTAUs that have the whole 450, 300, 100 and such numbers making it easy. Basically it makes it easier for everyone.
