How do you tune such things? I have a few instruments such as a Ocarina (Ocarina of Time FTW!!!) a guitar and a piano but I have some music programs on my phone and on pc. I actually tried some things with a WAVE ust and a sawtooth synthesizer but it came out very weird haha

Ayume, it depends on how the UTAU is otoed and how you use it. For instance, the way you're meant to use SOHO Bass is short notes with little to no portamento since they're short, plucked notes. If you made it play really long stretched held notes, it'd sound extremely strange.

Sawtooth would definitely come out sounding weird in the UTAU resampler :C

I dunno, Myst. It depends on the recording quality. Duke, as the previously posted example shows, can do long notes from short samples. He was recorded at 44100Hz but the input from the microphone was higher.
