So last day, while I was bored on my TL, @PaintedCz made a tweet with a new singing synthesizer software that we was using with her Czloid bank.
Making some researching I've found that NameWave is a new (really new, it has been released recently) software that acts similar to UTAU but with more pre-made plugins inside it, the ability of doing manual pitchbends inside the UI, use a backing track, includes a "Voiceroid" plugin and you can import your UTAU banks onto the software (I still don't know if .frq and oto configs are taken in the import process, I only know that the alias are used).
Also, it's in beta stage and it crashes often (specially when zooming things on "Traffic") but it gives quite nice results with some work ofc [pretty much like UTAU was considered as a "Manual Vocaloid", I would consider NameWave as a "Manual UTAU"].
Below you can find the release video and here you have also a small, simple demo I made with my CV UTAU:
I would also share Cz's English try but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that.
Opinions on this software?
