What language is this song in?

I know the title seems like really dumb question but please bear with me.

So I've been wanting to cover this song for forever

And I've finally found an instrumental for it but there's a slight problem.
The lyrics on the video are in Japanese but the vocals aren't (at least to my knowledge)
The song isn't super popular in the first place, so there isn't too much to go off of? I've been reading the comments on Nico and a few people are saying it might be in Latin? (I know nothing about Latin though and partially distrust anything google translate has given me.)

If anyone could maybe clarify or help me out I'd greatly appreciate it~ ;;
(Also sorry I haven't been on here in ages so if this is in the wrong place I apologize.)

I don't think there's an easy answer. They took Miku pretty far out of her comfort zone, and that costs clarity. Even if it is in Latin, I have doubts a Latin expert would be able to decipher it very well unless they could read the Japanese. After I listened to the song a few times, I do hear "Kyrie eleison" in the beginning (mainly thanks to the commenters saying it in the comments heh). The phrase is Greek, because originally (according to Wikipedia at least) mass was held in Greek in ancient Rome, although they still used it once they switched it to Latin, so those are two possibilities. I don't know anything about them, so it just sounds like Kajiuran to me.

This song is beautiful and mysterious =o Also yeah, I'd say Latin personally... Because then, I don't know Greek so I can't tell about it... I don't think it's Italian

However, it could also be a made-up language based on Latin and such.... ERA anyone?

Sounds like Latin, yet it's an imaginary language

Ooh, thank you both very much!! (especially for the Kyrie Eleison bit that's a massive help.) Never thought about it being an imaginary language either, that's really interesting :o
I'll try looking around a little more with those and see if I can find anything else, thanks so much!
