Hello,

I repost this problem wich, in fact, is really boring.

So, here the problem each time I want to play a lyric wich is in hiragan, it won't sing ! I'm forced to check the box calles "use resempler.dll" but that make a really bad sound.

I've set local to japenese too :

Oh ! And it doesn't work with aliases....

I tried to use a converter but actually, 50% of the time the ust don't work when I convert.

Hope you can help this time.

I'm taking a guess the issue is the dot/comma thing. It tends to cause resamplers not to work. You go into formats and clickk paramétres supplémentares and change the "," to a ".". Hopefully this helps

PS: forgot to mention but it's doing it with ALL resemplers

EDIT : woops sorry, I've looked the wrong place. And actually it doesn't work

Can you also post a picture of the black command window that appears when using resampler.exe with the hiragana notes that rise the problem for more information?

For example, I made Oniko sing "お お お". You may want to censor private information like the user name if you want (that's not important).

Actually it's doing like the note doesn't even exist. Look by yourself :

I use a VCV voicebank, so here the aliases aren't the problem at all. It's doing it with CV hiragana voicebanks anyway. Like when a note is called with an hiragana it doesn't work.

EDIT: My theory is good, so now the thing to find from where do the problem come from ?

I'd rather you had used resampler.exe instead of TIPS because it gives more information but it'll work.

Let me show you the result of a rendering with my TIPS:

Do you see it says ¥Temp¥utau1>copy ...etc...
If you check yours it is \Temp\utau1>copy ...etc...

And that's kind of troublesome because "¥" in the file path it's an indication of Japanese locale. It may happen you have some trouble with you locale after all (even if you've showed what it seems a correct change).

So, let's make sure you have the correct charset (language for not Unicode programs). Do this:

Start a cmd window. For example, press WIN+R, type cmd and press enter. (WIN is the windows key)
In the black cmd window use this command:

chcp

It'll show a number like:
m7rAhJU.png

In my case the number is 932. That's the one you have if your locale is Japanese.

If my locale is Spanish (not Japanese) I get:

850 is the one for Western Europe languages-Multilingual (like Spanish from Spain).

For curiosity you can check the numbers here:

Ok, It's not making any sense, I changed the local to japenese but I still have the numbre "1252". Saying that I'm in Western Europe

Something is preventing for the locale to change correctly the code page so the system performs as if you hadn't changed locale at all. It seems you've done everything correctly so I don't know what may be the cause, sorry.

I guess you can still try (first change back to your original locale):
a) Run a full antivirus check. Maybe some malware prevents the change. Try again the jp change after that.
b) Start your computer in safe mode. Instead of your normal user, log as "Administrator" and change locale in there. Restart the computer and see if it fixes.

The problem is found ! The problem is from the files names, if they are in Hiragana it doesn't work but with latin alphabet it works !

Reading all of this, I was about to ask if that was the case, since I have that problem exactly... :c It makes me wonder why, and if it's possible to solve? owo'
