Your biggest UTAU screw ups

-Voice acting a male UTAU with a really nasty trying-too-hard deep tone and thinking that sounded great and using it a lot. Also dumping copious amounts of g flags on my UTAUs and thinking that sounded great too. (I took my little brother's really deep voice, slapped a g-50 flag on it and called it 'Rika'.)
-Not bothering to look up proper Japanese pronunciation for over half a year and recording/getting attached to tons of voicebanks in that time.
-Spending hours and hours 'correcting' UST timing in Audicity by milliseconds. Meticulously keeping records of these corrections and wondering why everything still sounded wrong. (Turns out the UST didn't need correcting in the first place.)
-Thinking a VCV scream bank might still be okay despite visibly clipping really bad. (It wasn't.)
Just generally a lot of things where I was too stubborn to look up tutorials or ask for help.

OK so to preface I'm a first wave UTAU user my UTAU is the 30th overseas UTAU to exist, SO
1. I didn't know you could change the singer on a UST so i manually copied entire USTs including MODE1 pitchbends by hand
2. My UTAU didn't have an oto until act 3 because I had no idea what they were. I just clipped all my sounds VERY close in audacity
3. I saved USTs as notepad files

I think those are my biggest screw ups honestly but please keep in mind this was like 08~09 oh my god

Ahh my very first utau bank... Like my very very first one. Mispronounced everything, recorded it in the audio recorder that comes with windows and converted the wmv(?) to a wav using a piece of adware. I then duplicated all the files and set the duplicates to their hiragana counterparts. Loaded it into utau and there were frequency errors on literally every note. Deleted and this is the first time I've spoken of it since (it was 2 years ago and I'm still suffering ahh)

Oh! Another one! Timing the vocals to the instrumental! I'd always time it literally to the instrumental rather than timing the instrumental to the original, muting the instrumental, then timing the vocals to the original. All of my covers were out of time to some extent D:

When I was recording one of my VCVs apparently I just burped in a sample and didn't know until after I'd otoed the entire thing...
