What resampler is favorite?

Well, my favorite (and hence my default) is EFB-GT, although it doesn't like breaths. The other one I really like using is TIPS.exe because hhhh that one can sound so nice (if there aren't any weird sounds in the vowels like it sometimes happens) . Sometimes I use tn_fnds, but that one often sounds too metallic to me. ^^;

i use strictly looping resamplers so
efb-gt
tn_fnds
Moresampler
bkh01
i think the only stretching one i use is M4 because it sounds natural unline most stretching resamlers
i used to use tips but its kinda bad with long notes and is kinda gross

Finally I can now pick my favorite resampler!

and Freesampler

I love the way these samplers sounds on really soft voices~

Never heard of vs4u yet... I like moresampler a lot lately, but I just stick with regular resampler and sometimes fresamp. TIPS hates me ;v;

ok so, i figured out that the Fast_Resampler could be the Resampler Wrapper patch. I mean it does speeds up rendering :smile:

And my favourite resampler would be the default resampler + the wrapper lol

My to go to resampler is TIPS. I usually don't have any problems with it when using my banks. M4 is also one of my favorites, but I only use it for softer banks.

I like to use the default resampler.exe and tips. I find that resampler.exe works better with japanese VCV voicebanks and tips works better with my VCCV voicebank (using resampler give garbage sound quality for some reason?). Fresamp doesn't work well for me, every sample turns into mangled garbage. I'm curious about moresampler because I've heard good and bad things about it.

moresampler if the bank works with it and I don't need flags with it.
If I need flags and the bank works fine with it, or if the bank doesn't work with moresampler and it works here, tn_fnds.
If it doesn't work with tn_fnds, I take TIPS if the bank has less noise or is softer or is lower and fresamp if the bank has more noise or is more solid or is higher.
If none of those work, I'll just take the regular resampler.

The goal of moresampler is to make the output sound as close and as expressive as the input (original recording), thus it's better for studio/high-quality mics.

For power/solid banks, fresamp. Fresamp is my go to resampler and I use it almost all the time. :love:

For softer voicebanks, however, I'm not really sure. Probably TIPS and tn_fnds.

favorite? hmm....
EFB-GT for general "it sounds alright", fresamp11/14 is the voice doesn't end up sounding nasally or distorted (they always do so I never use it) , bkh_10 if I want more flexibility, however I mostly prefer to use Moresampler assuming that the bank doesn't have noise issues.

I tested Moresampler out last night and while I can't attest to the veracity of that particular purpose(because I don't really have recordings that can take advantage of it to be honest), I have to admit that whatever algorithm it utilizes really rendered my usts well with results of a far higher quality than tips or resampler.
