Looking for mic recommendations

So. I had to delay my purchase of the ATR2500 because of my bad eyesight ($300 ermahgod) and I'm just making sure it's the right choice as I've seen other mics such as the CAD u37 and am a little stuck. I'm not an expert of course in this field so if you can recommend a mic between the $50-$70ish range it'd be appreciated!

The ATR2500 isn't $300 though? it's only about $70.

That being said, I always recommend the CAD u37 since it's built decent and sounds really good for it's price. You also have several options for what it looks like (something that wasn't always the case)

Dunno how much things have changed as far as mic choices go, since I haven't been really active in the utau community, but most people would recommend the Blue Snowball. However I have the Samson Meteor and I love it. Sleek design and awesome vocal quality, and it's $51 on amazon + free shipping. Can't go wrong.

I checked the snowball and it's a little less but I haven't used it so I can't vouch for it aside from the fact that people in the utau community would swear by it.

I've owned a snowball previously and just don't see the appeal. it's so muffled and noisy. And the Samson Meteor looks cool but tries to get a "vintage" sound it's not too great for Utau.

Are you sure? I think the meteor quality is very clear. I think the only vintage thing about it could be the design. Always had good results but I guess it varies.

I was talking about the glasses being $300 not the mic :P and think I'll just get the CAD u37 thanks for your help~

Hahahaha yeah bad eyes are pricy
(also had a good laugh for the misunderstanding with the price pffff)
I still haven't saved up enough, but I'm trying to get the CAD u37 myself
