  • Hello, i do open mixing requests again, it's not a commission, i'm doing it for fun.

    Here's demo

I do multitrack sessions, mixing cover or anything audio.

If you want to donate or buy me a cup of tea or feed my cats, please feel free.
Did using discontinued UTAU VBs is wrong? I'm curious because i use it quite often and don't even realize that vb i was using has been officially taking down.

It depends on the creators terms. Some utaus don't have specified terms about that or simply doesn't care abou people using their discontinued utaus. The problem is if there is usage terms that don't allow the user to use it if it's discontinued. But tbf, in my opinion, I don't really see any problem with using discontinued utaus.

I just gather the opinion, because i try to find the way to contact the creator but there is nothing.

The more i use it, the more i like it.

Very present to use. Simply create melody, input lyrics, add some vibrato and the end, done. No need for fancy phoneme editing. Maybe add some manual pitch riding, gender and you got this.

Obviously it's depend on vbs but there is a plenty of a good vb out here.

Keep that in mind, the voicebank is playing the big part too.
This wip is actually the same idea as another wip i do before, but i try to simplify thing as much as i can, the result is quite promising.

What voicebank is that? How is it oto and it's sample? Their sample are long or short samples? (I'm talking per Syllable if the vb was recorded in strings)

In my case i use renri 1.5, but you can use any vb (really) preferably multipitch vcv with good oto, in this cover i edit suffixes quite a lot, similar way to using evec.

What's process do you guys spend time the most?, when making cover.
In voice editor: e.g, editing, programming(tuning), create melody or In music software: e.g, cleaning, editing, mixing.
You might say: 50/50, or not too sure. It would be interesting to know how's other do their thing.

There is no right or wrong answer, just curious.

But before it I simply tune realisticaly my samples, then I import it to a mixer, then I see what's wrong, fix the entire sample and go back to the mix. Basically I spent 1 month doing the tune and 1 month doing the mixing (But it's because I'm newbie in mixing and in realistic tunning). So overall I spend 2 months if I'm focused to do a utau cover.

But since I'm a very unstable person and don't give proper time to utau it can be extended to 6 months of total production if I want to make a tunne and mixing. Not that the final result is amazing or anything like that, It's just that I'm a snail! XD

That's quite complicate workflow, i recommend you to spend less time, also it would be a good idea if you give yourself a deadline, also working step by step is viable option too!

Playing with flags and gain ride, with out touching her tonal. The purest renri voice as i can get.
It's has to use 2 tracks, first is hard voice and other is mellow-ish voice, running in parallel.

If you mean self-made Utau, i have none. But i do help people with recording and provided a decent equipment for them (rent) if they're live in neighbor, though, i don't have much.

Nah, i'm not a talent person. Just an average people, like anyone else. You can do the exact same thing. There is nothing special.

if you're curious what i use.

I do work in the process of making utau voicebanks in the early stage and the end of the project. I can't tell you much because these are private utau and i don't have permission.

But this demo-ish video is public, so you can check it out what she's sound like.

Just share my cover with neutrino.
I lost the musicxml, i can create a new one or a better one, if you guys interested.

I check my old mix, this song is actually have very few processing behind it, it's don't even have a reverb.
    Has anyone use NEUTRINO?

    Give it a try!

Is neutrino a new voice synth program? It sounds really good, but I've never used it before (Although I already heard about it).

Yes, neutrino is a Free AI base voice synthesizer, that read .musicxml file rather than traditional midi data, though, there is no official editor for neutrino at the moment. so it's quite tedious to use since you need to use score editor to edit and input lyrics, but quality is there.
