Putting a plugin directly into your UTAU folder can be a hassle, especially for newer users. To make their lives easier, you can format your plugin to be a .UAR file. This is sort of like an executable file which installs an plugin for you -- No dragging into the plugins folder. To do this, first isolate your plugin in a folder. Then proceed to create a .TXT file named "install.txt". In this, the contents should be:
type=editplugin
folder=<Name of Plugin Folder>
contentsdir=<What Shows Under the Plugins Folder>
description=<Small description of what the plugin does>
Save that and put it with the isolated plugin. Then, highlight the folder and the .TXT file and send to .ZIP. Then, edit the file extension to be .UAR, and you are done!
