Keisei Sumi is a variety of mythical creature called a Siren, best known for living in the ocean and luring unsuspecting men to Davy Jone's locker. Sumi dislikes the thought of cold-blooded murder, however, and instead decided to live harmoniously with humans. She lived with a village of fishermen and fisherwomen until she was 18, and has now decided to pursue her passion, music. Be wary of her voice, as it can unintentionally cause shipwrecks.

Sumi is a kind, yet energetic soul who wouldn't hurt a fly. She loves spending time with humans and learning their languages. She is overall a fun-loving creature, but you are free to interpret her personality as you see fit.

Sumi currently only has a Japanese CV voicebank but is in the process of getting a Japanese VCV one as well. I plan on giving her an English VCV, but that will take quite a bit of work.

Not recommended for exceptionally low songs, as they make her sound muffled. She can sing high notes with ease, though.

You don't need my permission for 18+ works, just make sure that her age stays at 18 years old or older. (You can send any sort of work that you've made of her to me, I'd love to see it!)

Feel free to edit her oto.ini or voicebank as you see fit. Whatever she needs to sound better!

Please contact me regarding commercial use of either her character or voicebank. We can work something out.

Derivative characters are encouraged! I'd love to see what you guys can come up with.

Do not use Keisei Sumi for racist, homophobic, sexist, or transphobic acts or songs. Religious songs are fine, but nothing mean-spirited.
