Wander

"A long time ago, where I cannot remember, I began to exist. With these legs given to me, I have walked. Even though I do not know where I will reach, I smile and continue on regardless.

I have experienced many things in this beautiful world. To choose a favourite would be a boundary, though I will never forget the sight of freshly fallen snow in a seemingly limitless field, or the lively warmth of a festival.

I have met many beings as well. A robot who collects and records an overwhelming amount of stories with the help of many tinker-toy machines listened intently to my many escapades and explorations. I wonder if I will wander to them one day? I would love to tell them everything I have seen since then.
A young raccoon girl who was enamoured by the buttons on my cloak as they shimmered despite their age. She was covered from head to toe in trinkets from many places that were both familiar and not to me.
While my memory is horrid, I will always greet someone, new or familiar, with a warm smile.

But yet, I desire more. This heart of mine, which beats with years long passed by, is somehow never content. Eventually I find myself saying good-bye. They are not tearful good-bye's though, far from it. "Don't worry, for I will always find my way back here, in time."

This head of mine, full of pointless things, can't remember much, but that is alright.

I exist to wander infinitely.

Wander is as his name is, a wanderer. Ever since he came to be, he has never stayed in one place for too long, finding that it caused him anxiety. So there he goes, picking up his feet and walking without an aim. He'll continue on until he can go no further, only to turn around and continue again.

He is outgoing and joyful, doing his best to smile regardless of situation. His curiosity is insatiable and he loves learning about and seeing new things, but this has gotten him into some incidences. He will be the first to admit fault and work to fix them. Wander's memory spans countless years, and while it may seem horrid when performing simple tasks, he could tell you things that happened decades ago with the right "click".

Because of his urge to wander, Wander has a fear of claustrophobic spaces or places that limit his movement. He does his best to remember as much as he can, as he doesn't want to feel the emptiness that he did when he first existed. Total darkness is another fear, as it feels overwhelmingly claustrophobic.

Wander antlers sprout flowers, the flowers differing by season. In Winter, Snow Drops. Spring, Apple Blossoms. Through Summer, Alpine Speedwell. And in Autumn, Asters. His ears are that of a deer, but his tail, long and flowing, resembles a horse. It's strange, even without the wind, his tail seems to always be flowing.

You will never see Wander wearing shoes. Maybe it's because they will eventually fall apart due to how much he roams, or maybe it's just because they are uncomfortable. Because of how long he has walked, temperatures like that of snow don't bother him.

Wander loves berries and fruits because they are easy to find. His favourites are grapes and blueberries.
