My partner had made my Ruko Kire voicebank combined with Ruko whisper and Ruko strain using setparam, so I would just add wh or st in UTAU to change the note to the respective voicebanks instead of the main voicebank. It works great in UTAU but I can't figure out how to get it to work in OpenUTAU. I've searched for Alias help but can't find anything referring to my problem very well. I'm pretty scared to accidentally mess up the vb in OpenUTAU's options as I can't find a way to really uninstall them from OpenUTAU's registery in case they become inoperable which is why I'm running here instead of just messing around myself. This sounds like a use case for voice colors. Open the singer window and edit subbanks, then create new voice colors, then set the appropriate suffixes for the voice colors. This will allow you to specify which subbank to use with the CLR parameter.

thank you very much! This let me know just what to search up so I was able to get an in depth tutorial. I was able to get Ruko Whisper to work with voice colors, though I did the exact same setup for her Strain vb and it didn't want to work? I selected all, changed the suffix to st but it's just not working. I'm not that bummed about it since I don't get much use of it but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong

Now that I'm attempting to use Strain in regular UTAU, it's not working there either even though I remember testing it? Here are screenshots of the otos, as noted whisper's suffix is [space]wh and strain's is [space]st
