Arpasing

Arpasing. What it is? Is it useful for the UTAU? How does it differ from the usual reclist?

Sorry, I really don't understand.

Arpasing is a method for doing English in UTAU. By using specially formatted arpabet reclists, you can automatically OTO them with Moresampler, and use a plugin called Arpasing Assistant to edit USTs and automatically convert words to phonemes.

If you want to learn how to make an Arpasing voicebank, and find lots of other useful resources (such as a list of voicebanks and USTs to use), here's the website I've made: http://arpasing.tubs.moe
All of the resources are also mirrored onto UTAforum Resources.

Thanks for the answer.
For some reason this site doesn't work for me
I found arpasing for other languages, so I was a little unsure that this applies only to the English language.

Arpasing is exclusively for the English language, due to it being based on the Arpabet system for transcribing English phonemes and the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary for English speech synthesis research. Any other reclist that claims to be "Arpasing" for a non-english language is simply based on the concept of diphones, and has none of the compatibility that a true Arpasing reclist should.
