AviUtl project is empty?

First things first, I'm using a PVKit which is an AviUtl project file. At first it couldn't load in the project at all but after I renamed the folder and the file itself to only contain English letters it loads in without an error message.

Only thing is...the entire project is empty. Like so:

Note how there's nothing on the advanced editing menu either. This has happened to me before so I want to figure out what causes it and how to get rid of this issue quickly.

If you're using an English patch of AviUtl, you might have to download the japanese version. I have no clue why, but files made on the Japanese version don't work on the EN patch

When I open it in the Japanese version, I get this. Do I need to change the title back, or...

If you want to use the Japanese version, or probably even load a Japanese-made project, you'll need to change your system locale to Japan. Note this is different from your region or language settings, although it's found int he same location on most PCs

Once you've done that, to ensure nothing is corrupted I would freshly unpack the project if it came compressed, and re-download/install the Japanese version of AviUtl
