I currently won't be able to use japanese words. A good beginner (tuning wise) which will accept plain text? Example: these words here.
Thanks i'm about to download the stinkin thing

Unfortunately such a thing doesn't really exist in UTAU simply because of how it works. Because UTAU has no way of automatically handling ending consonants and consonant clusters, they're usually implemented by having to be input manually on individual notes. On top of that, English spelling is very inconsistent, so most English UTAU are recorded with some kind of phonetic system that more closely matches pronunciation. There are multiple systems, but they all generally put pairs of phonemes on each note and strings them together so each one leads into the next. So something like "this text here" can't be simply entered as "this text here" but will have to be entered as something like "[dh ih][ih s][s t][t eh][eh k][k s][s t][t hh][hh iy][iy r]", where each set of [] brackets is a separate note.

A better beginner alternative may be to use a romaji Japanese UTAU, where lyrics can be entered in english letters rather than japanese characters. A CV UTAU in particular will be very straightforward to use, as something like "arigato" is simply entered as "[a][ri][ga][to]", again, where each set of [] brackets is a note.

I know about phonetics, which is why i chose the name Particle. I'm really just asking for the smoothest beginner's level voicebank. I've heard Defoko can be quite difficult to tune at times.
