Consolidation and why you should do it

What consolidation means is that instead of having .wav files that start where the singing starts, you have .wav files that start where the song starts and have a bunch of empty space before the singing starts. This makes it trivial for someone to line up the vocals when mixing, since they will just have to drag the .wav files to the start of the song and it will already line up. It makes things easier for you if you're doing the mixing on your own, but especially if you're sending your songs to someone else who does the mixing, you'll save them a ton of trouble because they won't have to guess where everything is supposed to go.
