Howdey Partners! ok that sounds cringy....


As my exams are coming up it is totally appropriate to start a new project... right?
Anyhow this one is long running and I can do it at my own pace.

WHAT

A lot of my friends complained lately that nobody uses their UTAU, newbies complained about not getting noticed, etc. So I had to do something about it RIGHT?

So I made this soundcloud called "Cyber's List of Awesome UTAU", on this account, I will make small tracks (min 30 seconds, max 2 minutes) of a certain UTAU and review it a bit.
Every track will have more or less the same title, so browsing will be easy

The star-rating is from 1 to 5 and indicates how easy a bank is to use of newbies. I find this pretty important because, I struggled a lot myself with finding banks that worked for me. Good CV banks and mono-pitch vcv banks will prolly score higher on this, than a hiragana super complex multipitch with a non-standard oto.ini
If you get what I mean. Do note that this is COMPLETELY SUBJECTIVE and that even ONE star is good, because if I disliked the bank it would be NOT on my AWESOME list to begin with.

To make it clear, here have a example with my UTAU

My utoot is a rampage for new users because all of her extra sounds and some of her samples are broken. That is why she completely deserves 1 star haha.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR UTAU?

Very simple my child. If your UTAU has a good and complete oto.ini, I will gladly use them! Tho, it will depend on the queue, my studies, etc.
I will do my best to mix both CV banks, VCV, VCCV and CVVC (however if your bank is CVVC you will have to help me with converting the UST), I will only take JP banks and English banks for now.

Anyhow, just comment here or DM me on Soundcloud -> Download url of your UTAU, their wiki if they have that and some other stuff you would like to mention.
That's it, that is all you have to do.

Here is the DL link for the VB and here is her Wiki page. The voicebank's Surffix for the VB is "_M", sings hiragana USTs only.

I recommend using OUTBURST (VCV) as it is the latest voicebank and is multi-expressional also having a wide range,
the pitches being G#3, C4, E4 for soft (suffix: 弱)/ G#3, C4, E4, G#4, C5 for base(no suffix)/ C4, E4, G#4 for strong(suffix: 強)/ A4, C5 for falsetto(suffixes: FA4, FC5)

OMG this bank is super nice. I like his frontier bank as well. Your utau has a very unique tone!

I recommend his Hirogaru (V2) VB. It's multiexpression CVVC, with some multipitch; it has Power and Soft (suffix S) @ F3, A3, D4, G4 (Soft G4 is falsetto, but aliased G4 to have simple switching), Shout @ C5 with suffix C5. Has monopitch Dark @ D3 (suffix: D), Whisper @ C#4 (W) and Edge Rest Vowels. I doubt its easy to use for newbies due to the overwhelming amount of expression. If you're only looking for Power, I recommend his Firestorm and for Soft his Shimo VB.

As for USTs to CVVC, of course I can help, but also there is autoCVVC, which converts USTs to CVVC!

She has VCV (hiragana) and CV (romaji and hiragana) aliases, so feel free to use either one!
Other stuff:
- tripitch
- has some extra samples, suffixes for them are listed in the readme
- might have an accent, I'm not sure if that'll affect how easy the VB is to use
- default or fresamp11 work best with her

My boy has VCCV, CVVC, and VCV banks. The VCV and VCCV are monopitch at this time.
