Does UTAU work in Windows 8 Consumer Preview?

I'm about to install Win8. But I haven't considered one thing. UTAU. Will it still work in Win8? I haven't gotten any clear answers. Could someone please tell me?

Maybe if you run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7? or something lower perhaps?
I'm not sure, just guessing.

Well, does it have locales? As long as it has that, it should work. I downloaded the original UTAU(the one that looked completely different and had a different default bank) on Win7, and that worked...
