Okay so i recently got UTAU (yesterday), and Uta works all fine and dandy- i got a pitch plugin to play around with, fun times. But when I downloaded Momone Momo (soft and cute versions, i even downloaded the soft one twice) and extract it and cut and paste them into the voice folder- and it appears on utau and everything- when i type out (in hiragana) it wont make any noise! yes ive checked my volume, and Uta still works just fine, so I was wondering if there is something special you have to do get them (or maybe specifically Momo) to work? Thanks!!
If you've downloaded a 連続音 or VCV voicebank, you will need to input VCV lyrics. Plain CV romaji lyrics would look like this: [か][え][る][の][う][た][が] While VCV lyrics "borrow" the vowel from the previous note, like this: [- か][a え][e る][u の][o う][u た][a が] You can use a plugin like bizz's iroiro2 to automatically convert a whole UST.
