I just looked at the strings and I'm just...what kind of guide bgm would I even use???? The length is certainly another deterrent lmao
I get the impression it was desgined for a text to speech and someone just sort of went "eh, if it works for tts it should work for utau in theory"

There are existing databases of speech samples recorded using that script, so using the index.csv would enable you to convert those into UTAU voicebanks quickly. It's not really meant for recording new voicebanks, but you can still do so if you want to.
