I tried to make her Work on UTAU, looked for guides and theirs literally nothing on how to use her Act 4 voicebank. And I am currently kind of desperate as the only We are capable to make run is CV voicebanks. And that's kind of infuriating

did you convert the ust you're using to vcv?
EDIT: you need to use a plugin such as iroiro or autocvvc to convert a ust to vcv

Hello! Kumi Act 4 is a Hiragana-encoded VCV voicebank. There are several methods to use VCV voicebanks.

If you are using Original UTAU, the .ust will need to look like Figure A shown below.

If your .ust is in CV (figures B & C), it will need to be converted to Default VCV in Hiragana. This is done easily with the "irorio" plugin, found here: https://utaforum.net/resources/bizzs-utau-plugins.129/

Alternatively, VCV can be used with Hiragana & Romaji CV input using a tool called "Presamp", found here: https://utaforum.net/resources/presamp.492/

To use "Strong" and "Whisper" extensions, simply add the suffix "S" or "W" to the desired lyric box.
Example: [ - か ] [ - かS ] or [ - かW ]

Don't forget to clear the STP and reset the envelopes before playing the .ust! http://utau.us/fitust.html

If you are using OpenUTAU, Hiragana & Romaji CV input can be used by simply selecting the "JA VCV" Phonemizer. "Strong" and "Whisper" extensions are used the same way, by adding suffix "S" or "W" to the desired lyric boxes.

If you're still having issues, you may need to switch your computer's Locale to Japanese if you have not done this already, and then redownload the voicebank.

I mostly want to make my own USTs, because it's more simple like that, than to have to adjust the entire UST to the voicebank if you know what I mean, it's time consuming. But it's just how I feel about it. I feel like I have much more options that way.
