How to make an off vocal in Audacity?

I want to make an off vocal to a song I want to make a ust for cause I can't seem to find it any where.  But the problem is I can seem to make it even with all the videos I've seen on YouTube.  I tied to follow them but the I can still hear the vocals very loudly.  Dose anyone know how to do it?

It's a hit and miss depending on how the original is mixed but if it's an updated version of Audacity, try → Effect → Vocal Remover and play around with the settings. u v u
