It's pretty clear it's also CeVIO. With all of the English and Chinese being found in the latest build of CeVIO, I knew it. Seems they're moving away from Vocaloid.

From the sounds of it, and them not actually mentioning V4 at all, it appears IA is moving over to CeVIO alltogether. This would indeed mean no more IA on Vocaloid.

I love the way she sounds but- i'm kinda sad how she's not getting a v4 imagine IA rocks with growl that would be amazing but i totally love the way she sounds and how real she sounds look like 1st place thinks cevio is a better engine! (i honestly like them(vocaloid and cevio) the same so it doesn't really matter i'm probably gonna buy her and one) but imo i can totally understand why shes on the cevio engine! and she sounds amazing!

Quadimension's new character Hai Yi isn't a Vocaloid, and Maika's new VBs aren't Vocaloid VBs either. And now it seems like 1st Place is jumping over to CeVIO entirely. Are these companies losing faith in Vocaloid or something?

Well Haiyi hasn't been confirmed a non-vocaloid yet;;

I think it's not that they've lost faith, but that they've found better success or better suited needs in other programs

woah, even I might buy her someday and I’m not a big IA fan, her english is super pretty but it has a heavy accent BUT i’d only buy her if she was a v4 product cause I don’t like the ui of cevio

I think CeVIO is maybe more tolerant regarding companies wanting to make voicebanks on their softwares. Maybe the process of licensing and making the voicebank is less troublesome than vocaloid ?

Anyway, I adore this english voicebank. I hope a lot of people will use her!

I dunno what drugs it takes to assume a confirmed english vocaloid is a CeVIO, the fact how sceptical people are makes me laugh my arse off,
though I understand that IA''s English sounds very like a CeVIO but I do remember (not fully) that they wanted to do the best quality voicebank as possible

There is a lot of proof that 1st place is making a switch to CeVIO, which I went into detail on VO. IA English has also never been referred to as a VOCALOID4 product by 1st Place. The only recent talk about IA English from them, excluding the recent post on their tumblr, was when they were talking about her CeVIO bank.

But tags aren't a reliable source, ONE and Lia are tagged as Vocaloids on their SC.

Basically, she says sorry for using wrong term by calling VB as “English Vocaloid” and should have called it instead “IA English”.

Pretty obvious for now that IA English isn’t for Vocaloid engine at all.

She sounds exactly what a Japanese speaker singing English would sound...which is actually really nice.

A lot more reasonable than the weird slurry sound Japanese Vocaloids end up with.

Honestly, IA ENG sounds really nice and if it is revealed she is on CeVIO (which is what she sounds like to me) I would be interested in buying CeVIO.
