Imported a UST and it sounds too fast

Hello! This is my first time using utau and I'm trying to practice tuning. However, when I imported the UST, it sounds like the utau is singing way too fast. I tried adjusting the tempo above the lyrics bar and adjusting it on the first note. I really don't know what could be happening here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried resetting the parameters of all the notes?
Select all notes by pressing Ctrl+A, then press Ctrl+E to bring up the properties window.
Where it says "Preutterance", "Overlap", and "STP" (click on more details if you can't see it), set them all to 0, then press OK.

I did, unfortunately it still sounds really fast, you can't even hear some of the notes.
