So I've been planning on using Aiko's JP cvvc vb for a cover but it turns out i have no clue what I'm doing. I've tried looking up how JP cvvc works but I haven't been able to find any tutorials really? The only voicebanks I've used have been vcv and sound so smooth, but i'm not sure how to (if i even can) make this cvvc sound smoother? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I really don't know what i'm doing

The quick way to convert a CV UST to CVVC is to either use Presamp or AutoCVVC. This is where you can download the latest versions of both:
Presamp: https://ch.nicovideo.jp/delta_kimigatame/blomaga/ar477661
AutoCVVC: https://ch.nicovideo.jp/delta_kimigatame/blomaga/ar1172141

If you need to make adjustments afterwards, or you would like to do it by hand, the principle behind Japanese CVVC is that you connect each CV syllable with a short VC transition.

When you connect from any note to a plain vowel, you can handle it in the same way as VCV.

When connecting from any note to a CV, you make the first note shorter by the same length of the preutterance of the second note.

Then you turn the new R note into a VC. Since the first note ends in "a" and the second note starts with "s", the VC should be "a s".
