Hello guys!
We of the “German Vocaloid Brigade” – you can find a list of our members at the end of this post – plan to do a multilingual “My Favorite Vocaloid Song Medley I” Cover. What we need to finish this project is your contribution!
About the medley
We are accepting UTAU and Vocaloid entries. Preferred are entries in a language other than Japanese. Conlangs are also accepted. Currently, just one song per person. Depending on how many people are going to contribute, we might be open for more entries per person, but not for now.
You have three options:
1. You work on your song of choice yourself – adapt the UST/vsq to your language of choice, tune and render it, and then send the render to us.
2. You adapt the UST with your preferred UTAU*1 to the language you want. Then, you send the file (and UTAU download link) to us, so that we can tune it.
3. You suggest an UTAU and a language. Your suggestion will be put on a list with which we’ll fill open slots of the medley if necessary. We cannot promise that your suggestion will actually make it into the medley.
!!! No UTAU may be used twice !!!
*1: Option 2 does not apply to Vocaloid.
It is currently planned that
- We are going to use the USTs from Lystrialle.
- the mix will be done by ~mw~
- the video will be done by SY:ELEN
- the last song “First Sound” will be sung by every UTAU/Vocaloid in Japanese. We will send the USTs for this part to the contributers at a later date.
Lyrics
We for sure have access to the lyrics for the medley in Japanese, English, and German. We are sure that most of the songs have translyrics in other languages like Spanish as well. In some cases though, translyrics have to be written first. It’d be very helpful if you could provide translyrics in these cases.
If you cannot find translyrics, cannot translate them yourself and cannot find a translator yourself, then please give us a note so we can try to find a solution. We will try our best to help you out, but cannot promise that we will be successful.
!!! Additionally, send us the lyrics you used in textform and with a note who the author is, so that we can use them in the subtitles and give proper credit. !!!

How to enter
Fill out the form below and post it to the thread. In the case that you have neither a VocaloidOtaku nor Utaforum account you can fill out the form here.
Furthermore, please send us transparent artwork for your part.
The artwork should be send to either SY:ELEN or me, Sylveranty.
The render of your UTAU/Vocaloid should be send to either ~mw~ or me.
If you go for option 2 and want us to tune the UST for you, then please send the adapted UST to me and I will discuss with the group who is going to tune it.
We are going to notify you when you are put on the list. It’d be great if you could send us the render of your UTAU in a period of roughly 3 weeks afterwards. If something gets in the way, please contact us and give us an update so that we know what is going on and that you’re still planning to work on your entry.
The render and the artwork don’t have to be send at the same time. You can take your time with the picture. Just please notify us on a regular basis so that we know you are still on it.
