My UTAUloid sounds pretty weird

One day, I decided to make a CV voicebank using my phone's microphone (pfft) and then it was fine (for me). So then I decided to make a VCV voicebank using my phone's microphone (lol) and otoed it using moresampler. It sounds like this:

Fact: I actually released this as ACT 2 VCV *facepalm*

I said, "Maybe it's because of the quality of the microphone" so I bought a new one and then recorded VCV again, otoed it using moresampler and then it was the same quality as the other one (I dunno where I put it so I have no evidence"

I said, "Maybe I run out of breath too fast!" and tried 5-mora. Recorded, otoed using moresampler, then this happened:

This one's *kinda* better but then the consonants are too short. I then tried CVVC, did the same things (using moresampler) and then this happened (I didn't use the VC cuz autocvvc failed on me):

Yah, and I don't think it's the mic cuz I'm making a CV KIRE voicebank and it sounds fine:

My theories why it sounds horrible:
Microphone (even tho I doubt it)
OTO (I never tried touching the OTO of moresampler in all of these)
I record too high
I exhale too much breath
My voice simply sounds weird in UTAU

I'd say oto. It sounds like an oto error, Moresampler merely generates base otos. You still need to adjust every single oto line.

It sounds to me more like an freq problem.

Can you show us .oto screen of your VB?
The one with blue waveform, orange line...

Edit: oh wait..i'll download one of the VBs

I DL'd and checked his CVVC bank
His .frqs and .wavs seem fine but i can't test him with .usts since i have no earphone.
I think it's the .oto, Moresampler generates base .oto so we can't fully rely on it.
So, like what Sors said...Try to adjust the .oto~
