New Nico Banks

Pretty good banks today! I actually like all three that came out! Good job, people uploading to Nico! *shinami seal of approval*

First up is an Overseas bank, Hana (I think her name is only that). I've been really anticipating this - it's a super gorgeous tripitch CV bank. It sounds really good, just imagine how her future VCV banks will sound! Keep up the good work Miramiee! Definitely gonna use this girl, I have a feeling her voice would complement Leil's 1000%.

Next is a shonen VCV, Hanamine Ouka. He's actually part of a group of FANTASTIC UTAUs, all worth checking out. Not particularly unique, but his quality is top notch and very smooth.

Finally we have the interestingly named A06#808000. She's a slightly breathy VCV bank that for some reason I find very appealing - her tone is very nice and womanly and she doesn't have way too crisp consonants and she's not too breathy...she's just right in my eyes (ears).

Only liked one bank today.

Kamikure Reeji is a kind of confusing VCV bank. In the description is says it's male but says something in parenthesis I have no clue about. And considering the male and female concept arts and the VERY ambiguous voice (seriously, I can easily see this as both genders, I was really confused), he's either a crossdresser, transgender, or is whatever gender the user wants him to be. Or maybe he's weird like Ruko or something. Anyways, with his voice for some reason his pronunciation is very pleasing and different to me. I find it appealing. It's oddly nasal or something? I don't know... *shrugs*

Hmmmm... I tried to figure out, and I've the feeling they say his gender is male but he's one who has "the soul of a young girl"... So then, he could be either an effeminate young man, or a man thinking and liking "girly" things (otomen ? )... And that it'd be (the author's ?) favourite depiction

He has an interesting voice ^^ And both his male and "female" designs are beautiful~

Didn't too much like the banks that have come out lately. Though I do suggest people check out the latest Homokure video, I laughed good at how professional and serious it acts. XD

On a smaller note, HaLd got an Adult VCV bank that I think is a very nice male bank. Nothing super outstanding, but the quality is good, the pronunciation great, and I like the masculine but not super manly tone.

Ooka Miko got a new multipitch VCV bank! I think it's her Wolf bank? I'm guessing on the design and based on the tone, didn't really translate out the kanji. Point is it's nice sounding, for some reason sounds much nicer than most of her banks (their quality is really meh), and is much more stable than her Kire in my opinion. Will definitely be using this bank.

Soune Suwa (Color) is a new VCV bank for Suwa. I like how it is either strong-ish or soft depending on the resampler (well, I can easily see that potential). Her vocal tone is nice to my ears.

Shuga Kanoko did a super coolie (she has an excellent mature female strong VCV bank normally) she made a soft CV VC bank! It sounds fantastic and I recommend it to people interested in CV VC.

Hine (Hion?) Mayuka and Mayuri both get new banks - they're very nice sounding female VCV banks. I love their tone. Also, guessing based on Haru.jpg's involvement, I think they're Chinese made if that interests anyone.

Last good bank is Akane Inari's new Hinyari bank.The beginning is decieving, watch more and you realize it's a great quality multipitch strong female VCV bank that's fairly mature, I like it.
And I just realized, hey, this is the UTAU who I started this thread for! She's gone up on my cool list for her regular multipitch bank as well.

By a lot I mean one or two, which to me is a lot on a site I haven't seen any in ages. I didn't judge them by art (which was also bad) and took a look-see still...only to find bad quality, not great oto CV banks.

Well, Namine Ritsu Eve is a tripitch CV VC voicebank. It has a very interesting raspy tone and an odd accent or tone to the voice that I found really nice and I almost want to learn how to use CV VC Japanese so I can use it because it adds a new dimension to his voice range. And don't think it's all Kire, the highest pitch is just like his regular Strong bank. But a very good bank.

Oh, other cool voicebank is a REALLY good Alto Recorder UTAU. It sounds fantastic, give it a listen! Recorders are cooler than you think.

The 彩-サイ- part literally means "colour", the katakana is how the kanji's read.

After Ritsu's new bank there wasn't much for a day or two, but finally there's enough to comment about.

First up is Zuiga Mizuki's new LIGHT VCV bank. Not Lite, LIGHT. And while the bank is crisp, it isn't too special - until you look at how many other appends he has. LIGHT isn't my favorite, but really putting him up here so you look at his other banks. With all these combined he can sing pretty much every kind of song.

This one is just because the cover is cool, hah. Watarine Niwa did SILENCE in Chinese (can't tell if it's Cantonese or Mandarin), sounds pretty good for the slightly soft voice type. I can't judge Chinese banks whatsoever, so I guess check him out if you're interested in Chinese.

Next up, Tomone Zaku has a new bipitch VCV bank, Depression. I couldn't figure out for the longest time why she's so popular other than her creator's PV skills, but then I learned while scoping out this new bank that she has a Kire bank also and is the sister to Tomone Mito (the best Kire shonen bank I've ever heard). This new bank I think has great potential for realistic vocals. Definitely check out her and her brother!

And having mentioned another Chinese bank, this one is far superior (I seriously just like that other one for the cover). It's a new bank for Isoko Hata (I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS A HE WAS TOTALLY CONVINCED IT WAS A CHICK). Very clear and very nice sounding, even if I don't know Chinese, and there's even a screamo section. XD

Misakura Hayao has an excellent new VCV bank today. Great job, Halo! Every bank that comes out is much more like a real man and has better pronunciation, this one is fantastic. Yeah guys, a girl voiced him. Well, I can't remember if he's bipitch or tripitch, but definitely check him out.
I also love his redesign - I remember way back when she did a demo of his VCV 2.0 there was a silhouette, and the final design was NOTHING like I imagined. This one is much closer to that imaginary outfit I've always had Hayao wear, hah.

And just when I was about to suggest keeping his VCV 2.0 because it's softer, she also releases a "Meek" VCV for him that sounds pretty sweet. Unfortunately, the oto is not complete (I'm not sure to what extent), so just know that ahead of time.

Next is Shizune Kotori with a new VCV bank and a Nightingale append, which is VCV as well. Her accent on her main VCV is a bit noticeable, maybe could be fixed with careful consonant velocity usage. Nightingale is a lot less of a problem, the softness probably requiring crisper consonants and less nasal/off vowels. Nightingale is a huge thumbs-up for me, and while VCV is nice I still really like her CV append Canary.
