New voice synthesis user

Hi, everyone! My name is Cam, I'm brand new to voice synthesis engines and willing to put in serious effort. I want to make a super basic, barebones C+V English voicebank for myself, but I'm not sure where to start. I've looked for reclists and even how to make them, but I can't seem to find anything. Anyway, yeah that's my introduction.

welcome!

the CV format was made specifically for japanese, so i cant guarantee good results, but there is this recording list that could work. for a new user looking to create an english-compatible voicebank, i would recommend recording a japanese voicebank with english extras, which is available here.

Hi! Thank you for responding, I'm actually referring not to CV but to C+V, which is referred to as the "joke method" in the UTAU wiki. I mainly need directions on how to make my own reclist that will encompass just the very basic consonant and vowel sounds. I'm not looking for perfection quite yet, literally just something quick i can mess around with

you could make your own reclist by just splitting the consonants and vowels of any english phenome list. the pronunciation guide on this site has all the basic phenomes used in delta english, add or remove things as you prefer.
