Setparam Help

Okay so, i started using setparam, but i can't get it right because i stumble upon a error when i try to follow "smallmugi"'s Video :


I can't type .a in that "beat" box because it tells me the character is invalid, also, i noticed his files are in hiragana, mine are in romaji, is there a problem ?

In the beat box first he types .B then changes it to .9

So what am i supposed to type ?

Well it looks like .B sets it around the beat. He put .9 to center it around .9th second of the timeline of the recording because it wasnt in the right place when on the beat. You gotta look at the waveform and find where the consanant ends. Basically you define the part that isnt stretched by the resampler ( the consonant and preceeding vowel) and the part that is stretched (the following vowel) ive never otoed myself but this seems to be the theory.
