These consonant and offset thingys idk what are them

"Offset" is where UTAU starts playing the sample.
"Consonant" is the part of the sample that does not get stretched or looped.
"Cutoff" is where UTAU stops playing the sample. Everything between the end of the consonant and the start of the cutoff will be looped or stretched for notes longer than the length of the sample.
"Preutterance" is where the note "starts"-- for a CV sample like "ba", the Preutterance should go between the consonant and vowel.
"Overlap" is how much of the note gets crossfaded with the previous one.
Rather than putting in numerical values, it's better to hit the "Launch Editor" button and do things where you can see the waveform.
