UTAU japanese characters not displaying properly

Okay, I've been using utau for many many years, and I have to say that I've never seen anything like this before. Everything is perfect, every voicebank is displaying the right japanese symbols... Except for the one I made myself (and I have made many on my own). Instead of displaying ''阿久女イク・連続音Ver1.3'' , or ''【Usage】'' , it will replace the japanese symbols (and 【】) by very complex-weird ish japanese ones...if not chinese? Note; this is only affecting my ''character'' and ''readme'' files, only for MY voicebank.problem iku.jpg

This is fixable by going into the text files and saving them with ANSI as "coding".
