Utau Synth making no sound/silent

This is not when I am making my own UTAU or using UST's btw, this is for all my voicebanks I have downloaded. When I try to just draw the note it is silent with both CV and the other voicebanks I have downloaded- it was working fine before I downloaded Ruko and now none of my voicebanks will produce any sound. When I go into the oto menu and press play it sounds fine, and when I copy and paste the note name into the note, it still is silent. I downloaded Dante Design's Utau-Synth fix right from the beginning and I even uninstalled and re-installed the app, uninstalled it again and tried to somewhat change the locale, even though I'm not sure I did It right, but I went into system preferences and changed my location to Japan, and then re-installed it. I have the romanji, hirigana, and katakana keyboard, so I'm not sure what else to do. I have OpenUtau but I really wish I could just get Utau-Synth back
