Like the thread title says; what video editors do you use? I'm looking for a new video editor. Preferable a full version and not anything that's a trial.

I was using Adobe after effects, but I can't anymore.
Movie maker doesn't want to work on my computer.

AviUtl is a very handy tool if you can understand it!
Many people use it and you've most likely have heard of it. I know that Kyaami uses it and she makes some nice videos.
I still haven't gotten the grasp of it, but I've only used it like three times in two months, ahah.

I use Sony Vegas, but I also have experience with Cyberlink PowerDirector. PowerDirector may be a little more forgiving if you have a slower/older/less high end machine.

Here's what I use for my video editing needs:
- Kdenlive (nice, but does not have a good subtitle engine);
- PiTiVi (very nice, but packaged versions are very buggy. Use the distro-agnostic binary);
- OpenShot (comes with a cool animated text creator, powered by Blender. Sadly, some packaged versions are buggy as hell. The AppImage version is the way if packaged versions fail you).

PiTiVi and OpenShot are ideal for those who want to migrate from WMM.

I had been previously using:
- Wax (good program, but does not work on Linux).
