I'm wondering what the best format for a Youtube UTAU cover would be, because I've seen covers with the song's original MV, simply with an UTAU screencap, and a screencap with the UTAU's picture. What do you prefer?
I was thinking of doing that, however it takes more time, so I often don't do it for covers that took me less time to make. However, for the demo reel I'm making, I'll definitely consider that!
While I agree, we shouldn't try and assume people have the resources/skills to do this. As someone who has worked on original music videos before, art commissions for music videos can be expensive, even smaller ones. Even less detailed art styles like the one for my 100 sub special take a good amount of time (the 100 sub special for example took 2 months to produce, albeit with a long runtime).
