WIP VCCV Utau Voicebank - Satsuki

Hello people of utaforum! I am completely new here(Posting wise, I've actually been on the site for a few months and see how useful the site is), and hope to get some of your thought on this. I'm working on my first Voicebank named "Satsuki"(Somebody please confirm that that means Early moon, I'm genuinely confused TT^TT), and I need some tips for making her. I'm going to use RVC to voice her, but I am going to record the original samples. And of course the samples used in the RVC model are my own(I did not record them, but they are my property, not taken from anywhere!). So if you can, please give some tips on how I should go about it, and if its really possible to make a UTAU voicebank on a Mac, without ever switching over to a Windows computer?

I'm not sure why you need to use a voice model if both the original audio samples and the model data are based on your own voice.

The voicebank isn't my voice, it's a voice of my friend(Slightly altered) because I thought her voice fit my OC perfectly. And I'm making the voice model because I really like UTAU covers, and kind of hope for my voicebank to get somewhat popular.

Would you be able to ask your friend to record the voicebank directly? You can both watch the official tutorial series for the VCCV English reclist, though she probably only needs to watch the videos about the symbols and pronunciation.

I guess I could try that when she has time, and if she doesn't I'll just find a way to have RCV process all the voicebank files after I record(Shouldn't be too hard). But is there a way to make a voicebank fully on Mac without any use of a Windows computer? I've heard of wine in the past, just not sure if It would work with Oremo or SetParam.

I recommend using Recstar to record, vLabeler to configure, and OpenUtau for using the voicebank.
