I have a problem using the UTAU Chris's "ENRAGED" bank on utau synth.
From my understanding, on UTAU Synth, the program needs special files called "spef" files rendered along with frq files, which are not used on windows utau. Chris's bank already has frqs, but since he was made on windows, he doesn't come with them and the spef files need to made in the program. Normally this is no issue, but Synth refuses to generate these for Chris.
It will render them for chris's lower pitches, but with his shouting pitches, no luck.
The program just spins for awhile before crashing, even if I only pick one sound to have spef files rendered.
I really don't want to just use Chris in his low range forever, and he is the only utau that I've ever seen the program just reject like that. Additionally, Chris's voice provider also provides for one of my utau and if this became an issue with future recordings of that utau, I would really need to know how to fix it.
From what I can figure his recordings don't have any problem with them, they're in wav format and don't have any clipping.
I have redownloaded the bank many times and am 100% there is no corruption going on, so I really have no idea what it could be.
If anyone has any suggestions or really any word at all I would really appreciate it.
If anyone else on UTAU Synth could also take a look at Chris and see if you have the same issue, and if he works just give me your spef files, I would massively appreciate that too
