Some help about older voice samples

I'm finally getting around to using samples Ive had for 3-4 years in a voicebank but Im wondering if I should use them as the regular voicebank or as maybe an append? I was just wondering because I probably cant make that sound anymore

If your voice has changed drastically, (Guessing from age and not smoking, etc.) then you could make a "Chairudo" (Child) append or something.
